Garden room set up for a wine tasting in Derby Worth Brothers WinesWood fired food and great wine is what we do. We have an Italian wood fired oven in our Garden Room and 4 Big Green Eggs in our barbecue hut.

We cook everything from smoked mussels to quail in our oven or Big Green Eggs but everyone loves a great pizza and by far the most popular booking in our Garden Room is our 3 course Fire & Wine evening at £ 40 a head (minimum spend £ 600).

During the evening, we’ll serve 6 wines (3 whites and 3 reds) by way of a fun game called ‘Quaff My Bluff.’ Each guest will consume about 2/3 of a bottle of wine and, if we applied standard restaurant mark ups to the wines we serve, this alone would work out at approx. £ 25.

Starter – choice of Sopa de Guisantes (Pea Soup with Jamon & Mint) or Roasted Butternut Squash Soup
Main – we serve big, thin crust pizzas sliced into 8 pieces and pass them around the table for everyone to share. We start with Margaritas and usually end with Bresaola (air dried beef) and we keep cooking until everyone is full.
Dessert – Raspberry Pavlova or Lemon Cheesecake.
