Lagar da Xestosa Godello in Galicia in Spain is produced by Adegas Pazo do Mar in Galicia, this wine has crisp lemony ripe fruit, good balance with a spicy citrussy finish.

FULL TASTING NOTE AND WINE MAKING –

Lagar da Xestosa Godello is made from the Godello grapes produced by 30 year old vines and has crisp minerally fruit that is very ripe and fresh with floral lemony notes, good balance and a spicy and citrussy finish. The grapes are chilled before pressing, then the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks and the wine was kept in contact with lees for two months before bottling.

THE PRODUCER –

In 2002 the Adegas Pazo do Mar was created. It was born of a 30-year family vocation, which respects and admires the age-old Ribeiro wine- making traditions. In continuous pursuit of the perfect balance between traditional methods and modern production process which give the wines the freshness and character expected, Pazo do Mar opted for investing in the best available oenological technology to guarantee an end product of the very best quality. Their new, modern premises are equipped with stainless steel tanks with temperature control, constant bitartrate stabilisation, a fully automatic bottling system and, naturally, all the technical staff necessary to ensure the production of delicately flavoured wines of unbeatable quality.
