Join us on Thursday the 28th March to taste 7 fantastic wines in the company of star wine maker, Franco Falesco, from Bodega Los Haroldos – the iconic Mendoza winery:-

In 1939 a young ‘Don Lolo Falasco’ started selling wines from the front of his bike, but he had ambition, a dream and worked hard. Lolo’s legacy is now in the hands of the third and fourth generation and today ‘Bodega Los Haroldos’ is one of Argentina’s leading family-owned wineries. They are making fine wines from premium vineyard sites in Mendoza, where they utilise high altitude to impart character and freshness in their wines.

The tasting will start at 7:15pm and shall last for approximately 90 minutes. We shall taste through 7 wines starting with the juicy whites and finishing with the big reds.

  1. Extra Brut Sparkling NV – £12.25
  2. Viognier, Blue Horn – £9.50
  3. Chardonnay, Hermandad – £21.75
  4. Malbec, Blue Horn –  £9.50
  5. Malbec Roble, Los Haroldos – £11.75
  6. Roble Blend, Los Haroldos – £11.75
  7. Red Blend, Hermandad – £21.75

We will have some nibbles on the tables from the start but just before the end we will serve a Picanha Steak Sandwich cooked on our Big Green Egg (we will need to know in advance of any dietary requirements).

The event is all seated and it is likely that you will be sharing a table, unless you are a group of 6-8 people.

This is primarily a wine tasting and hopefully you will enjoy the tasting so much you will make an order. However, if you would like to continue to enjoy the ambience of our cellars after the tasting, then our bar will be open until 10pm to sell wine by the glass or the bottle.

These events are ticketless so once you have paid then just say your name at the door and enjoy the wine.

PS The cellars are 250 years old with cobbled floors, so sensible footwear is advised.
