An elegantly structured, unoaked Xarel-lo. Aromas of citrus and white flower are backed by flinty, smoky notes. Orchard and stone fruit characters meet fresh, crisp acidity. The wine has a broad texture with good palate weight. Attractive fennel and herbaceous notes have mineral undertones and a saline edge.
The origins of wine production at the Ca N’Estruc estate dates back to 1548. Here on the slopes of the holy mountain of Montserrat in Esparreguera – half an hour away from Barcelona – Francisco Marti cultivates 22 hectares planted at 165m on alluvial soil.
The estate has a unique microclimate – protecting vines from the cold north winds. With cool summers, mild winters and an average annual temperature of 14ºC – plantings are arranged to optimize the sunshine and ensure full ripening
