The wine is a blend of Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Gros Manseng, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Folle Blanche of which the proportions vary according to the vintage. The wine has a powerful aromatic nose with fresh acidity and intense flavours on the palate. Pale straw in colour with an attractive floral nose (acacia) showing ripe tropical fruit flavours with herbaceous undertone. On the palate the tropical fruit flavours are balanced by a fresh acidity which runs through to the finish. It is an off-dry, medium bodied style with a fresh, lively balance.
