PINOT NOIR, Wild Earth 2011/12

£22.00

Product Description

Warm aromas of black cherry, plum and a touch of toast mixed with a lovely concoction of herbs and spice. Lavish sweet dark fruits fill the palate with velvety concentrated tannins, balanced with acidity and a long lingering finish.

Wild Earth shot to the world-wide aclaim when it won an impressive five Trophies at the International Wine Challenge and Decanter Awards in 2008: International Pinot Noir Trophy, New Zealand Red Trophy, New Zealand Pinot Trophy, Central Otago Pinot Noir Trophy from the IWC and the New Zealand Pinot Noir Trophy over £10 from Decanter. Wild Earth founder Quintin Quider is an expatriate Californian who spent many years living in the South Island. He has gathered a small, dedicated team to produce his Wild Earth range in Central Otago. Established in 1998, Wild Earth Wines owns 35 hectares of vineyards in two of Central Otago`s finest locations – at the end of Felton Road overlooking the Kawarau River and the north Lowburn district beneath the imposing Pisa Range.
