Selected by Olly Smith as one of his top 50 Portuguese wines with the following words.
“Lemon and lime with a twist of more exotic rose fragrance and even a secret whisp of smoke leads to a palate that’s a world of aromatic freshness. Cheery wine that’s perfect for combatting drear and drizzle, it’s decent value packed full of zing and ping.”
A clean, sunny white from Portugal’s Vinho Verde region made from the Arinto grape. Fresh, citrus flavours abound here with plenty of acidity too but there’s also a streak of minerality running through the wine that adds a savoury element. Only 12.5% alcohol makes this the perfect lunchtime/afternoon white.
